Rabbit Run Nursery is open for on-site Retail Spring Sales offering Lilacs and More!! Saturdays Only - on May 3, 10, 17, and 24, 2008, from 9 am - 4 pm All other retail hours for lilac sales are by appointment only.
Rabbit Run Nursery is a family run nursery located in Rochester, MA. This 2-acre nursery specializes in lilacs and is dedicated to providing a large assortment of lilac cultivars to the southeastern MA area. We grow over 50 varieties onsite. We offer a selection of lilacs for sale online, as well. Also available onsite and at the local markets are our shrubs and perennials selected to grow well in the SouthCoast area of MA. Come see us at the 2008 Rochester Farmers' Market on Saturday mornings 8 am-12 noon from May 10 to Oct. 15, 2008, at the Plumb Corner Mall in Rochester (MA) Center. We feature flowering shrubs, perennials, and some cut flowers. Other venders feature locally baked, crafted or grown products. New this year our perennials, shrubs, and lilacs will be retailed at the Tihonet Village Market in Wareham, MA. The Tihonet Village Market is a year-round village store that offers locally grown products and specialty items. They have a full service eat-in or take-out deli and bakery, cranberry bog tours, and a great streamside farm-like ambiance. They are open 8 am-4 pm on weekdays and 10 am-4 pm on weekends. On May 18, 2008, we display and sell over 30 varieties of lilacs to represent the International Lilac Society at the Society Row Plant Sale. It is held at Elm Bank Horticultural Center in Wellsley, MA, and is hosted by the Massachusetts Horticultural Society. On May 31, 2008, we represent the International Lilac Society again with a large selection of lilacs at the Tower Hill Plant Sale held at the Tower Hill Botanic Garden in Boylston, MA.
